The Museum of Kansas City is proud to present its inaugural fundraiser, MUSE GALA, on Saturday, May 1, 2027, in the iconic Corinthian Hall. This special evening will celebrate our newest exhibition, Kansas City Style: A Century of Fashion & Art, 1850–1950, which opens to the public on May 6, 2027, with special curators Carmela Spinelli & Bruce Hartman.
A departure from the traditional sit-down dinner format, MUSE GALA promises a night unlike any other in Kansas City. Set within the stunning Beaux-Arts Corinthian Hall, the evening will feature gourmet bites and curated libations throughout the mansion, live music by Brass Rewind, and dancing. Guests will also enjoy an exclusive preview of the new exhibition, along with many more moments of discovery throughout the night.
Attire: Museum as Your Muse or Black Tie
Be inspired by the Museum’s architecture and history.
MUSE GALA will directly support the Museum’s Pathways Project, a new workforce and career development initiative for youth and young adults ages 13-23. Through paid internships, employment opportunities, consulting roles, and mentorship, the Museum is supporting the next generation of diverse museum and humanities leaders.
