In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, The Museum of Kansas City invites you to a powerful edition of Restore KC featuring Edgar J. Palacios, nationally recognized advocate for Latino representation in education and a steadfast leader in education reform.

As the founder and President & CEO of the Latinx Education Collaborative (LEC) and Revolución Educativa (RevED), Edgar has built two influential organizations dedicated to advancing equity and opportunity for Latino students and educators. Under his leadership, this multi-entity network has grown to an annual operating budget of more than $1.1 million and a community of nearly 2,000 Latinx education professionals and allies.

With an entrepreneurial approach to movement-building, Edgar works at the intersection of policy, practice, and community to reimagine what education can be. Join us as he shares insights from his journey and explores how restoring equity in education strengthens the future of Kansas City and beyond.
