Join us as we celebrate The Museum of Kansas City’s 85th year with a special multi course dining experience. The Museum opened to the public on May 5, 1940.

For this one night only installment we will explore the cuisine of Kansas City, and the surrounding areas, during the 1940’s. Each course will be accompanied by a beverage pairing and a discussion of the dish’s origin, as well as its significance in Kansas City’s culinary landscape.

Chef Rick Mullins is the founder of Redbud Kansas City, a project focused on exploring the history and cuisine of Kansas City, including the surrounding regions. With complete emphasis on utilizing ingredients only sourced from the region’s growers and from the wild, seeking to creatively express the land on which we live. Paying homage to the past while progressing modern midwestern cuisine.

Ticket price is set by the Chef and ticket sales continue supporting local Chefs and more Culinary Programs & Experiences.
