Komalpreet Kaur is the founder and executive director of Eye of An Immigrant (EOAI), a non-profit organization that supports immigrant families in the U.S. She started EOAI in high school to elevate immigrant voices and provide resources for citizenship. ​ The mission of Eye of An Immigrant is to help immigrant families overcome cultural barriers and achieve their American Dream by elevating voices, funding pathways to citizenship, and fostering a welcoming community. EOAI’s initiatives include a storytelling podcast called From Home to Here which shares the personal stories of immigrants and their journeys to the United States.

Komalpreet is also a public speaker and has extensive experience in government and politics. ​ She was born in Queens, New York and later moved to Kansas. Komalpreet is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi. She is currently a junior at the University of Kansas, studying Political Science with minors in Intelligence and National Security Studies, and Data Science. ​ She is on the pre-law track and aspires to become a lawyer to continue her work as a leader making meaningful changes in society. Her work has earned her several honors, including the United Community Services Johnson County Citizen of the Year 2023. ​
