Join us for a book signing and lecture with author and local historian David Jackson.
Based on Jane Flynn’s book of the same title, Jackson will explore Kansas City and Jackson County history through the perspective of the women who helped shape local HERstory. You’ll be amazed to learn—or rediscover—the women who were here the whole time yet rarely received credit in traditional history books.
This presentation helps correct that omission, celebrating women from all walks of life and honoring their impact across more than 175 years of county history.
